After recently retrieving many interesting objects from patient's intestines this week, I was intrigued by the spork.

A spork (also known as a foon or runcible spoon) is a hybrid of a spoon and fork dating back to the late 1800s. Several patents and designs date back to 1874 and the word first appeared in the Dictionary in 1909. Many are designed as reusable or desposible and therefore are often found in fast-food resturants and prisoners' stomachs.

Why not just swallow a spoon and a fork?

I was trying to market a "Spinsu" (a spoon and ginsu knife combo) but had to go back to the drawing board due to some safety problems...

what is a ginsu knife? do you think Mrs. K would have aloud them in the lunch line?

no, i doubt that she would've allowed them either.

remember when you wrote "what a nerd" next to mrs. k's photo in my yearbook without my knowledge? during the yearbook signing soiree in the halls i asked her to sign my yearbook and she flipped to her photo and saw the comment. she looked really hurt and glared at me disapprovingly and wrote "i hope that you don't really feel that way". thanks a lot. oh, memories.
