Oak Park Day

Last night my girlfriends from Residency and I met out in Oak Park at Karin's house. We took the green line out there and walked a few blocks to Karin's. She had wine waiting to be poured into empty starbucks cups prior to our walking tour.

Karin's condo is beautiful. It's also for sale, if you know anyone.

Karin then took us on a walking tour to look at 6 Frank Lloyd Wright buildings including his own home/studio. Karin even mastered the art of walking backwards while pointing out landmarks.

We ended the tour with a little shopping and then great food at a Greek Restaurant in downtown Oak Park. Good times!

Spring Shows

I have yet to master the art of taking a decent photograph at a concert.
But I've seen two unbelievable shows in the last few weeks.

Jason's Birthday Present has Arrived

Due to peer pressure from Smooth Dave Hamm, I have decided to make a post today. For Jason's birthday I had an oil painting made for him on canvas to be framed and placed on the bare wall above his fireplace. He had no idea and it was a really hard secret to keep. It arrived on Monday and I put it above my fireplace wondering how long it would take for him to notice. It didnt take long!
