While not at Ravinia....
I took a course in Oakbrook practicing using this bad boy. I had the chance to practice interventions such as banding, injections, argon therapy and object removal. By the end of the weekend, I had learned a lot and feel comfortable with the endoscope. Any takers???
All Ravinia Weekend
Good times were had this weekend at Ravinia.
Saturday night Jacquie and Bill were visiting. We went to see the great Tony Bennett with Jacquie's sister, husband and friends. We had quite a spread with plenty of snacks and vino for everyone. Tony put on a great show.
But not to be outdone but The Backstreet Boys. On Sunday night Allie, her sister and I joined 1.000 teenage girls at Ravinia. The night was complete with glow in the dark bracelets, young girls in clothing their parents clearly had no idea they were wearing and drunk kids booting in bathroom stalls. Despite all that, we had the best time and were surprised we could name more than 2 songs!!
Summer is now complete.

Cousin Kate is Getting Married
The TenCate Family is 100 Pounds Lighter!
The TenCate Family is shrinking!!! Over the past several months we have lost a combined 100+ pounds. Mom and Dani get most of the credit for the hard work, but Dad and I claim to have contributed 5 lbs each as well. Look forward to more updates in the future. The weight loss won't stop here!!

Taper Time
In good old fashion swimming style, I started my taper from studying this weekend. After 6 weeks of studying almost all the time, I spent the weekend trying to relax and let the info settle in.
Friday night was Katie and Patrick's wedding reception at The Alder Planetarium.

Sunday evening I went with Julie to the Cubs v. Cardinals game.
and ate the worlds most perfect hot dog.
