After
Mo and Russ's wedding I posted my favorite details about their wedding. Andrea and Peter had so many amazing details of their own. Here are just a handful of my favorite things.
DIY bouqets. Andrea bought flowers from the market and we made our own bridesmaids bouquets on wedding day.
Each bridesmaid bought their own dress in a neutral (gold/champagne) color tone. We'd not seen each other's dresses until the day of, but all blended together perfectly.
The Venue- Smog Shoppe
Pete and Dre had an unconvential ceremony where guest sat and stood in a circle as the two of them exchanged vows and Andrea's father blessed the marriage. Perfectly fitting for this couple.
I couldn't imagine a better backdrop than the succulent filled wall of the Smog Shoppe.
The dinner hour at The Smog Shoppe was incredible.
Great family style food and lovely eclectic vintage chairs, including the bentwood chairs I grew up with.
The signature cocktail included tequila and jalepenos- a perfect recipe in my book.
I'm obsessed with stripes straws, to which Andrea added her own personal touch.
And finally- the instagram photo booth. Guest were encouraged to take their own photos and post on instagram with a hashtag #petendre.
This was fun the night of the wedding but also a great way to have an instant online photo collection of all your guests photos. So creative.
Oh and how could I forget. Andrea's last minute hair change included wearing my headband. It looked perfect on her and made me feel great that I could give her "something borrowed" on her wedding day, even though she had something else borrowed already :)
